We are Graceful Fire Glass Studios, located in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in southern Rockland County, New York. A small studio dedicated to the art of lampworking, creating unique treasures from the heat of the flame.
What is lampworking? The use of intense heat to melt and manipulate glass into beads and sculpture. Warning: Becoming a lampworker will quickly become an addiction!
We sell on eBay thru our eBay nickname, gracefulfireglass and thru Etsy seller name Gracefulfire. We sell beads, bead sets, bracelets, earrings, wine bottle stoppers and sculptural fish for objet d'art or as pendants for necklaces. We can also teach you how to make jewelry for yourself.
We teach lampworking on the Hot Head torch, a first torch used by many home-based beadmakers and hobbyists. An excellent teaching tool, the cool flame allows the student plenty of time to master techniques that will allow them to express their creativity. Individual or small group introductory beadmaking classes will be held several times a year, begining in 2008.
Our email is Gracefulfire.glass@yahoo.com
As a student you will, "Begin with another's to end with your own." (Baltasar Gracian)
Let your creative spirit find new avenues, we will help you find your own road.
Happy journeys, Carolyn
