We are Graceful Fire Glass Studio, located among the beaches of beautiful Cape Cod. A small studio dedicated to the art of lampworking, creating treasures from the heat of the flame.
Craft Show Season
I can't WAIT until I can go to the beach again! Living on Cape Cod has made me appreciate the ocean and beaches so much more than when I was in New York. All year, in every season, we walk the beach and admire the changing vistas. Now I'll be there every day during the summer shanty season!
HyArts Shanties - Open weekends from May 5 - June 11; then open 7 days a week from June 12 thru till Columbus Day. You can get more information by clicking HERE.
These gorgeous red/orange white hearts will be made into pendants to hang from delicate silver chains. I have one more show later this season:
HyArts Shanties at Hyannis Harbour - I will be in the "Barnstable" shanty (light blue) from July 3 - July 9 (11 am - 8 pm) and again September 25 to October 1 (11 am to 6 pm). Get more information and directions HERE.
August 14 - 20 I 'll be with the Main Street Artists, in the lobby of Sturgis School on Main Street, Hyannis (next to Torino's Restaurant), hours are approx 11 am - 8 pm.
My work is also being carried at the Samuell Day Gallery on Route 6A in beautiful Cummaquid, MA. They have a huge selection of all hand-made American crafts. Get more information and directions HERE.
The FaceBook pages I am on are:
"Lampwork Bead Market"
"Lampwork Beads for Sale"
"Artisan Lampwork Beads for Sale"
"Perfectly Flawed Glass Beads, Perfectly Imperfect" (bead seconds)
Some of these groups are closed to the public so see the page administrator for information how to join.
You can also buy beads through my Etsy site or contact me directly through the "contact" page.
What is lampworking? The use of intense heat to melt and manipulate glass into beads and sculpture.
Warning: Becoming a lampworker will quickly become an addiction!
